Kyra Minton was born in the city of New York. She is an American actor. The actress is a household name across the globe, but is most famously in America because of her leading role in the TV show 'The Closer'. Sedgwick was a fan of performing, acting, as well as Broadway since she was only 12 years old. Her introduction to Broadway by her mother who was interested in it. Sedgwick had her first professional acting part at age 16 when she appeared on "Another World," a TV show.
